Summary:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct therapeutic, goal-oriented treatment sessions with clients on a consistent treatment schedule.
  • Complete medical record documentation on each client at each visit.
  • Complete and document services authorizations, treatment plan updates, releases of information, case management responsibilities and other required documentation as dictated by State Licensing Regulations
  • Attendance at all mandatory and scheduled training, and supervision
  • Report to the supervisor on a regular basis to ensure consistency and quality of care
  • Maintain professional boundaries and behavior during interactions with all staff and clients
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and client rights in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) Regulations, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Non-Discrimination Policy
  • Other duties as assigned by the Outpatient Services Director

Education Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services Field
  • PA Licensed: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW - preferred
  • Interest in working with children, adolescents and adults

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical direction and treatment interventions to the treatment team within the home, school and community
  • Teach the client and other involved caretakers how to implement interventions
  • Develop and regularly review Individual Treatment Plans
  • Collect and analyze observable data to refine treatment interventions
  • Provide individual and family therapy in the home to the client and family (MT)
  • Introduce, practice, and review positive coping skills, practice social skills, more effectively manage emotions, and/or improve communication patterns (MT)

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field
  • Clinical or ABA coursework Practicum/Internship/Mental health experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PA Licensed: LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBS

  • Schedule: School-based hours and/or before/after school home and community hours
  • Ability to meet paperwork deadlines consistently

The BHT works directly with a client to implement interventions defined in the treatment plan while transferring skills to the caregiver. Data analysis is collected and assessed by the lead clinician to ensure successful interventions, progress, and to determine treatment revisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services
  • Experience working directly with children

Summary:

  • Positions available for licensed (or Associate License) Master’s Level School-based Outpatient Therapists throughout York County Schools
  • While our program focuses on providing therapy in the school setting all year round we also provide services during the summer weeks

Responsibilities:

  • The School-based Therapist will be responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients at the designated school location
  • Providing traditional outpatient mental health therapy in the school setting
  • Working with consumers who have a variety of emotional and behavioral needs
  • Conducting Intakes/assessments for new consumers and providing ongoing individual and family therapy sessions at assigned school(s)
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive Treatment Plans implemented to ensure consumer care
  • Maintaining both clinical and administrative components of consumers electronic health records
  • Participating in supervision, training, and any other required meetings
  • Ability to meet paperwork deadlines consistently
  • Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Master’s Level - Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Education, Marriage & Family Therapy or a Human Services field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PA Licensed: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW (Preferred); Associate License accepted
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
